Ben and Rita Griffin... excited about life, passionate about nature and wildlife photography. Since our first trip to Alaska in 2015, we've photographed wildlife and nature in locations around the world and here at home. We are Canon shooters (have been since film days) and recently, Ben added a mirrorless body to his arsenal recently (which now includes a 1Dx MarkII, a 5D MarkIV and an R5). Rita shoots a crop sensor DSLR frame with a Tamron 18-400 zoom lens that literally never comes off the camera. What always surprises us is the very different images and perspectives we each capture when we are standing just a few feet from each other 'on location' somewhere in the world. It's a wonderful expression of how each photographer sees the scene differently. We are thrilled to share some of our work with you here.If you see something here you would like to purchase, please use the 'Contact Us' form to let us know... or just reach out to 'talk photography'.(BTW, if you missed it on the Home Page... the word 'Gryphon' is. pronounced 'Griffin', just like our last name. Gryphon is the ancient Greek spelling for the mythological creature with wings and head of an eagle, body, claws and tail of a lion. The Gryphon appears in Irish, Chinese and Greek mythologies along with other ancient cultures around the world.)
